A.Troubleshooting-Side Discharge Pump Series

Applicable Model Series:ANAFAFCALFNGFJF、JFN、JPSA、SF


Problem 1:Pump fails to operate

Q1. Power failure

A1. Check the voltage. Contact power supplier for solution


Q2. Defective cable

A2. Replace power cable


Q3. Impeller jammed or clogged

A3. Clean the impeller


Q4. The motor protector tripped

A4. Make sure liquid temperature is below 40°C pump and is completely submerged


Q5. Motor burn-out

A5. Rewind or replace the motor


Q6. Water gets into motor after mechanical seal wear

A6. Replace the mechanical seal & oil seal


Q7. Float switch defective

A7. Replace a float switch


Q8. Impeller rusted

A8. Remove rust


Q9. Faulty Control Panel

A9. Repair or replace

 

Problem 2:Does not pump. Inadequate volume / Low value of aeration in J Series Pump

Q1. Motor rotation reversed

A1. Reverse two of three leads on a three phase motor


Q2. Impeller worn or cavitation

A2. Replace Impeller


Q3. Strainer block

A3. Remove and clean the foreign objects


Q4. Impeller block

A4. Remove and clean the foreign objects


Q5. Valves and pipe leakage or plugged

A5. Remove plugged objects or replace


Q6. Excessive water head

A6. Consult the distributor


Q7. Air suction due to low water level

A7. Raise the water lever or adjust the float switch higher


Q8. Clogged aeration chamber (J series)

A8. Remove the foreign objects


Q9. Worn nozzle (J series)

A9. Replace with a new nozzle


Q10. Water level too high (J series)

A10. Adjust the Level Switch lower

 

Problem 3:Over Current

Q1. Abnormal voltage

A1. Check the power, and make sure it corresponds to the nameplate


Q2. Incorrect rotation

A2. Reverse two of three leads on a three phase motor


Q3. High viscosity liquid

A3. More liquid needs to be added to the pump fluid to decrease its viscosity(contact the distributor)


Q4. Foreign matter clogging pump or impeller

A4. Remove the foreign objects


Q5. Worn Shaft

A5. Repair and replace

 

Problem 4: Stops during operationPump

Q1. Foreign matter clogging pump or impeller

A1. Remove the foreign objects


Q2. Abnormal voltage

A2. Check the power, and make sure it corresponds to the nameplate


Q3. The motor protector tripped

A3. Make sure liquid temperature is below 40°C and pump is completely submerged

 

Problem 5:Electric Leakage Circuit Breaker Activated

Q1. Power Cable damaged

A1. Replace new power cable


Q2. Wet cable terminal

A2. Re-connect wires using waterproof tape after drying


Q3. Water ingress caused by worn mechanical seal

A3. Replace new Mechanical seals and oil seal


Q4. Motor burn out

A4. Repair or replace new motor
